Lake Placid is located in the Strawbridge area of Virginia Beach.  It is comprised of approximately 580 single family homes built in the late 1970s and early 1980s.  It is conviently located off of Dam Neck Road and London Bridge.  Landstown Lakes and Castleton are nearby neighborhoods.  The children in this neighborhood attend Strawbridge Elementary, Coorporate Landing Middle, and Landstown High.
